Privacy Policy
This policy relates to private data held by Lucid Communications Ltd. in the course of providing the
SiteSentinel work-site induction platform to our clients.
Lucid Communications Ltd. acts as a data controller. We collect and hold personal data and test results
to provide an audit trail of safety inductions for our clients. Personal data includes name, company, and
email address. Some SiteSentinel sites take a photo of the inductee during the induction process. This
is for the purpose of verification - to check that it was the correct person undertaking the induction.
The photo is not used for any other purpose. We do not collect data that we do not need. We do not
allow third parties to access our data. Data are collected directly from inductees. We do not engage
third parties to harvest data for us.
Data are made available to our client’s representatives (users) via password-protected logins. User’s
access to data is matched to their job role and responsibilities. Users from one client are not able to
view the data we hold on behalf of another client. Users with site-specific responsibility are not able to
view data from other sites.
We do not hold data for longer than needed. Our retention policy is designed to support the audit-trail
requirement of our clients. This is typically three years and does not exceed four years.
All the personal data we process are handled by our staff in the UK. Data are located on servers within
the UK.
If you wish to contact us regarding data issues, please send an email to
